1 Sound & 2 Words, I didn’t want to hear.

The tomato plant out

Yesterday the tomato plants went into their new pots. Outside.  Committed to the great outdoors through until sometime in October or at least until the last plump tomato squeaks its pips.

When I was outside potting, the sun was so warm that T shirts, not fleece were finally the order of the day and I was feeling quite relaxed about it being the ‘right’ time.

I was also relaxed as I sat on the sofa that evening. Until it grew dark and I closed the curtains at the same time as my neighbours were passing by my front window.

‘Brrr, it’s cold’  I heard one remark , as she wrapped her arms round herself.

Not what I wanted to hear !

However a quick check this morning and all seems well.

I am also posting this photo of something that I pulled up out of the gravel yesterday to remind me how ingenious and resilient nature is.

 Acorn and Oak Tree

It was only a couple of months ago that the tomato plants were tiny seeds and now look at them.  I’m sure they will be fine !
