10 Varieties Of Tomato Seeds I Planted.

Hopefully a sign of a glut to come !

I have already confessed up to planting too many tomato seeds!  It’s like the bowl of Kettle Chips (esp. Sweet Chilli) or the ‘help-yourself-to-all-you-can-eat buffet’.  It’s a bad idea but it’s there and calling my name …. And so what can I do but …..

So which seeds called my name?

Of the Top 5 I am growing all except Shirley and that’s because her profile wrote her up as liking life under glass as opposed to being a wellies ‘n’ outdoors kind of gal and so although by the time I have finished indulging my tomatoes I may as well have bought them their own luxury walled garden in the sunny south of France from which to soak up the rays instead of the half hearted sunny Surrey windowsills they are having to make do with, I don’t  have the room or the inclination to run to a proper greenhouse.
So that leaves Alicante, Gardeners Delight, Sungold, and Moneymaker.

My other choices are:

  1. Black Cherry
  2. Carbon
  3. Garden Pearl (also referred to as Gartenperle)
  4. Red Robin
  5. Tigerella
  6. Tumbler

How many  tomato varieties and seeds do you plant each year? And how do you stop yourself going back for more!?
