Running awning to awning in Central London last night, dodging cloud bursts, trying to get the timing right on when to stay put and when to make a dash for it.
At least I wasn’t decked in fancy frock and finery as the attendees of the Buckingham Palace Garden Party would’ve been. Were guests admiring the Vegetable Patch as the heavens opened ?
I had no idea there were so many regal tomatoes: Golden Queen, Queen of Hearts, White Queen.
The measuring jug shows just how much rain there was to dodge.
Today’s tomato photo is of one of the crowning glories of my patch, the Black Cherry .
