Valentine’s Day – Cheesy?
Very much so. A tangy cheddar lies beneath that waxy outer heart…..So today it’s back to first loves; the grated cheese and tomato sandwich of the school packed lunch box, followed by a Penguin biscuit.
Variety? – that came from the different colours of the Penguin wrappers.

Ha! Your picture reminded me that my Mum was always under strict instructions that any cheese sandwiches in my packed lunch should ONLY contain grated cheese. Sliced would not be accepted! Always accompanied by a trusty Penguin.
Grated makes a much better ‘boingier’ sandwich – bet your mum didn’t appreciate having to wash up that cheese grater every day though ! And the next sandwich is never improved by the addition of small bits of grated, desiccated washing up sponge ! Hope you were ‘grateful’ !!
