I know. This is not a blog about dogs. It’s about tomatoes. There may even be some of you who love tomatoes but not dogs. I’m struggling with this thought but accept it’s possible ! If so, please excuse this side shoot and skip today. Normal tomato broadcasting will resume tomorrow.
However if you are in the section of the ‘things I love’ Venn diagram where dogs and tomatoes overlap, today’s post is for you.
Last week I wrote about a day out in the New Forest. Some of you thought you might follow a similar route this summer and asked if I knew the name of the dog I’d posted a picture of.
Louise from Warborne Organic Farm kindly emailed back and revealed that he is called Huckle and sent a link to a page on their website that is all about him. For a tales of a true furry charmer, click through to the Huckle Page.

What breed of dog is Huckle?

He’s lovely isn’t he.
As I remember he is an Irish Terrier. In photos they can all look quite different – it depends on how their coat has been clipped – how short and in what style!
Huckle is very natural looking – and I think all the more handsome for it !
