With no more catalogues dropping through the letter box, it’s time to go online and gather ideas for next year.
One company which always has a beautiful stand and stall at the major shows is Pennard Plants. This year I’ve come across them at Hampton Court and the RHS Autumn flower show.
Their stand is always humming with treasure hunters rifling through the seed packets.
For fruit and vegetables they specialise in Heritage seeds . The tomato selection is 40 in number.
I hadn’t come across them last year but varieties stocked that I bought elsewhere include Black Cherry, Cream Sausage, Garden Pearl and Gardener’s Delight.
For next year, varieties I like the sound of include White Wonder, Plum Lemon and Green Zebra.
