A typing labour of love ! With over 140 varieties to choose from I’ve sliced this particular beefsteak of a catalogue in half. N to Z to follow next week. Watch out for heavy-weight “S” at 22 varieties !

In my first year of growing I ordered seeds from Nicky’s Nursery and found both seeds and packaging good. From the details given on their website they are based in Broadstairs, Kent. ( Which as a worthy alternative to anything tomato, has the best ice cream parlour, in the banana boat shaped form of Morelli’s.)

But back to the Tomatobocker Glory of all these lovely varieties:

A: Abraham Lincoln/ Aisla Craig/ Albenga/ Alicante/ Ambrosia/ Amish Paste/ Ananas Noire/ Anna Russian/ Applause/ Aunt Rubys German Cherry/ Azriel

B: Bambino/ Banana Leggs/ Bella Rosa/ Big Boy/ Big Rainbow/ Big Red/ Black Brandywine/ Black Cherry/ Black From Tula/ Black Krim/ Black Russian/ Black Seaman/ Blondkopfchen/ Bloody Butcher/ Botton Doro/ Box Car Willie/ Brown Berry

C: Carbon/ Caspian Pink/ Cherokee Purple/ Cherrola/ Chiquita/ Christmas Grapes/ Costoluto Genovese/ Cream Sausage/ Cuore de Toro/ Currant Red/ Currant Yellow

D: Delicious/ Dixie Golden

E: Egg Yolk

F: Ferline/ Floridity

G: Garden Peach/ Gardeners Delight/ German Red Strawberry Heirloom/ Golden Gem/ Golden Monarch/ Golden Sunrise/ Goldcrush Currant/ Great White/ Green Sausage/ Green Zebra

H: Hawaiian Currant/ Hill Billy

I: Ildi/Isis Candy

J: Jersey Devil/ Juliet

L: Lemon Tree/ Limmony/ Little Sun

M: Mandurio/ Mega Bite/ Micro Tom/ Miele/ Mini Charm/ Moneymaker/ Mortgage Lifter/ Mosaico/ Mountain Pride

When the weather warms up, I think a  tomato sundae of Ananas Noire, Banana Leggs, German Red Strawberry Heirloom with a Black Cherry on the top would be just the thing !
