Weeding is much overdue. A layer of Mypex with a thick, crunchy gravel topping is not enough to keep those unwanted green critters out. But before I got to bending and pulling, I noticed some areas were more crowded than others. The more crowded spots were the ‘house’ ones. Even where the ‘house’ had just a roof and no sides.
The top picture is of the area protected by the Growhouse ( even a self seeding tomato is making the most of it ) followed by a picture of the clearer area around it.
The photos below of are of an area directly underneath a small wooden table and then of the area to the side of the table.
I can’t help but compare and contrast….and think that’s what having a greenhouse would be all about (…though with tomatoes not weeds !)
