As today’s been all about hanging on in there, I thought I’d show you one of my garden survivors. Biding its time through a frozen winter and when finally up, having its space and light stolen by an army of pampered pot dwellers. None of whom have to forage for their own soil, water and nutrients (the outliers don’t get Chempak stirred not shaken) and yet in terms of development it’s holding its own!
They’re toughies those tommy outlaws !

If it’s in the spot where you put last year’s pots, it’s possible that some nutrients found their way onto your soil. Or maybe you have good quality soil under there in the first place. Either way, I salute your plucky interloper.
