This company was new to me and I enjoyed reading the on-line catalogue with its quirky design and descriptions. It seems a personal, independent sort of supplier. And who could not be charmed by the location: Seedman’s Cottage, Puddlebridge, in Somerset. Postage is free for orders over £25 but I couldn’t find details of the cost for smaller orders. Ordering is by post.

Tomatoes are a mix, some straightforward varieties, some old favorites and some new. There are 27 to choose from, from an A-Z listing.

A couple of descriptions I enjoyed:

San Marzano: Owing to their solid flesh and tenacious skin; the fruits are very apt to drying and preserving

Moneymaker: Can be relied upon to give a good account of itself under all circumstances
