21 locks and no Wolverhampton Greedy. It must be the canal equivalent of The Captain going down with your ship ! A full English is a worthy substitute in terms of sustenance but after your eulogy to The Greedy we have come to expect unique and more from Wolverhampton !
Thank you for you lovely comments. If you could see my one and only growing herb which is a Rosemary and looking very un Rosy and very un merry at the moment I am not sure you would wish me on herbs as well as tomatoes but maybe !!!

Have just caught up with your latest additions, having revisited the Wolverhampton 21, which was just as remembered, only this time without the rain. BUT.... no van with Wolverhampton Greedies!!!! The anticipation had been almost too much to bear, but the disappointment was as devastating as a blast of wind on an unstaked black cherry. I wilted at the helm (By the way, no street cred. for being captain of a tin can!). Had to wait until the top of the flight before getting started on a full English in the British Waterways 'lagoon', where we stopped to refill with water. Just made it, in spite of the low blood sugar!
All tomato plants survived our absence and are going out today, into the soil, for our "outside" experiment... not holding out too many hopes. Still think this site is terrific. Also think you should do herbs next year.
