No cooking from me today – but in my place I thought I’d highlight the recipes of other tomato lovers who have spent time in the kitchen cooking up something which pays tribute to their love for a great, homegrown tomato.
Whilst some of the recipes might not be perfect in terms of what I’d make my first choice off of a menu – what I do like is how they are all so different – and how there are ways of cooking and eating tomatoes that step away from the usual.
Top three I’d like to try : Agave Tomato Jam, Tomato Curry and Tomatoed Eggs – which now I type it out proves my ability to be completely contradictory within the space of a mere two sentences – as they are all well within my ingredients and flavours comfort zone !
